Headed to Beach Brook Hunt Camp...all of us!
starting to settle down...
And finally a nap...
The kids were very excited to experience Hunt Camp. We visited a couple years ago, but the didn't remember. They are looking forward to more frequent visits! So much to see and do and lots of enjoying the outdoors.
Daddy went out to get some wood for the porch and check out what they found!
We had fun with this turtle all day...we did let it go in the evening to join it's family :)
Off for a ride with Daddy & Billy
Some fun in the sprinkler with their cousin Tanner
The Ranger was so much entertainment in between adventures.
Olivia, Graham, Tanner & Zachariah
Close to camp there is a stream that crosses the road. It provided lots of entertainment too!
Even the dogs enjoyed it...Dexter and Kojak seamed to be great friends...
Kojak coming in from a little outing. It was so nice to just let him run off leash. He was so good at staying with us!
The kids enjoyed running up this big hill. They had done it several times on this day...a few times with Adam and once with Mommy, so this time I watched...
But wouldn't you know it that as they got halfway up, Zachariah stopped and yelled "There's a snake!" He did so well, he didn't move and we ran up to check it out. Sure enough there was a snake slithering through the grass. Thankfully it was a Garter Snake. Zachariah kept saying the rest of the day "I never saw a snake before!"
Here are the guys working on a porch for outside the kitchen door. Somehow I forgot to get a picture of the final project. It looked great!
When we went around to the other side of the cabin a little later, what was curled up on the porch??? Another snake! The kids were excited to see it and Olivia got her notepad to draw it. We were certain to get it off the porch when the kids were finished!
Nap Time...Zachariah

Later that day Riley (Billy's Daughter) came to camp. We had a bit of rain, so the
cozied up to watch a movie...
The final night, the kids were all clean and worn out...they all sat still for a movie before bed...
Adam, Michele, Tanner & Graham
A little more time to play and relax...
And on the ride home, Kojak (and the kids) was exhausted and happily fell asleep on my hand...
